Playwright, novelist and teacher, Ken began writing for the stage in 1979, becoming the writer in residence at The Court Theatre for several years. After a couple of theatre-in-education pieces he wrote Till The Boys Come Home, Scoring, Jobless and Origins of Power plus The Revenge of Badsky for Canterbury Children's Theatre, adapted The Runaway Settlers and wrote several shows for theatre collectives. After a hiatus raising a family he has returned to writing for the stage.
A comedy which pays tribute to the traditional Brian Rix farce by presenting an Antipodean reversal of the usual format. Behind all the mayhem is the Catch 22 of the DPB Beneficiary.
