Harry has a PhD from the University of Keele on Dramatic Theory, and since returning from Britain has taught throughout the University of Otago in the departments of English, Theatre Studies, Classics, Marketing and the Higher Education Development Centre. He has published in the areas of Eighteenth century poetry, Greek, Shakespearian and Twentieth century theatre and professional ethics. Since 1994 he has translated, produced and filmed Greek drama for the Classics Department. He was appointed Honorary Fellow to the Department of Classics in 2003.
Hūrai was translated by Dr Love and premiered at Dunedin Public Art Gallery in July 2009.
