James Carrick was born in Portsmouth, UK, in 1969. He has lived in New Zealand since 2007 and has been happily residing on Auckland's North Shore since 2017 with his extended family and his partner Liz - his inspiration, motivation and Muse. James Carrick is the author of Fall Out (2015), Welcome To Hellansville (2018) and Call Girls (2021). In addition to being a playwright, he is also an award-winning actor and singer/songwriter.
